A Big Day for Hyrell and for Small Businesses Looking to Hire

Posted by Patrick Clark August 28, 2013

Today, The UPS Store announced the launch of seven web-based business tools available via its Small Business Solutions portal.  We are fortunate, and humbled, to be one of the seven companies included in this launch.

For years, we have been providing web-based recruiting and hiring tools for small and medium sized businesses. Today’s announcement accelerates our momentum and further validates our core belief –small and medium businesses can benefit from smart, intuitive solutions like Hyrell’s Online Recruiting System.

Until recently, only large companies could afford to implement an online recruiting system (high setup fees; long term contracts; maintenance fees; etc.).  Small businesses were left with a few options – go it alone or use an internet job board.

Though internet job boards provide one essential part of the recruiting puzzle (supply of applicants), most don’t close the loop.  After an inbox gets filled with applicants, the burden remains on the small business.  Someone has to read through all of the resumes, emails and cover letters that stream in.  Someone has to contact the applicants. Check references. Schedule interviews.

The Hyrell solution has a unique approach that allows small businesses to realize the benefits that, until recently, only much larger companies had at their disposal.

We utilize job-specific questions that allow companies to focus on best-fit matches, not an inbox full of unknowns.  Then, once a company has its list of pre-scored, pre-ranked candidates, our built-in applicant tracking and processing tools allow companies to easily communicate with both applicants and with fellow employees to gather input.  The end result is a much more efficient, and timely, hiring process.

We have been helping small businesses hire for years and we look forward to doing so for years to come.  Small businesses deserve a better way to recruit and hire – and we are here to help them do so.
