The Greater Richmond ARC
In 1954, a small, dedicated group of Richmond area families started a grassroots organization - the Richmond Association for Mentally Retarded Children – that is today known as The Greater Richmond ARC. We are an organization created by families, for families - an organization that has grown to provide a continuum of programs and services for individuals with developmental disabilities across the lifespan, helping each person achieve his or her potential and improving the quality of life for everyone in the community.
The Greater Richmond ARC is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. All hiring decisions are based on non-discriminatory factors without regard to race, color, sex, religion, national origin, disability, or status as a Vietnam Era, special disabled, other covered, or newly separated veteran. In addition, the Greater Richmond ARC engages in affirmative action efforts, where appropriate, to employ, train and promote qualified minorities, women, the disabled, and Vietnam Era, special disabled, other covered, or newly separated veterans.
