The Housekeeping Supervisor ensures an exceptionally clean and safe facility that meets all federal, state, local, and company regulations and standards. He or she assists with and oversees day-to-day, long term, and annual cleaning projects; maintains all equipment in sound working order; leads and supervises staff to maintain a consistently high level of cleanliness throughout all areas of the facility; and implements cost-effective improvements to the facility.
The ideal candidate for this position has high school diploma or GED and prior relevant experience in a health care setting is required. Previous experience in a supervisory or management position preferred. He or she must work a flexible schedule and have the physical stamina to perform the duties of this position. Effective oral and written skills, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.
